Persian Tahini and Orange Zest Truffles Picture this, it's a gorgeous winter's day, the sky is blue and the air cool, you have been down in the garden doing a little bit of weeding, after all it is a full moon so not much else to do, and you keep being lured by the...

Fudgy Cacao and Walnut slice

I don’t think you can beat the combination of nuts and cacao – rich, decadent, indulgent.

These little gem of a slice is everything I am looking for in an rich, indulgent, sweet treat. They have to be rich, dense, super fudgy, studded with nuts for crunch, incredibly satisifying, simple to make and highly shareable. The Pauses In Between – Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga looks and feels we are doing nothing which in itself is like being a fallow bed in a garden, yet what is actually happening in the poses is a deep unwinding of physical, emotional and mental stress as our wired nervous systems untangle quieten down and reset. Cacao and Sweet Potato Mousse Cake

Cacao and Sweet Potato Mousse Cake I whipped up this delightful chocolate mousse cake for my birthday and to be honest I was feeling a little off colour, a bit grumpy and in need of something sweet, lush but nourishing. And if you look carefully at our autumn...

Autumn – Nourish Your Lymphatic System

Autumn - Nourish Your Lymphatic System My interest in the lymphatic system began over 15years ago when I complained of being tired all the time and couldn't seem to shake it. There was an intuitive sense or feeling that I wasn't dealing well with stress, food...

Pumpkin, Herb and Miso Soup

Pumpkin, Herb and Miso Soup Scarves and hats are coming out as the leaves drop to the ground and we begin our pumpkin harvest. This year there hasn't been much rain and our crop reflects that in the number and size of the pumpkins we have gathered - some years it can...
